Disrupting Paris

Challenge: Approached by a global food charity in collaboration with a government body to design and lead teams in developing solutions to combat the growing issue of food waste.

Process: By taking a human-centred approach to challenge our original assumptions, our research highlighted a number of unexpected key insights that could help shape future solutions. After brainstorming, designing, and testing a number of solutions we were able to pivot in order to design products and services that had a greater chance of adoption amongst their target segments.

Outcome: A number of solutions were designed around food-waste prevention, re-use, and recycling ranging from ‘enabling apps’ to government service redesign, allowing the charity to approach relevant stakeholders with fact-based deliverables.
